Founded by Osaka Gas in London in 1989, Europe Japan Centre (EJC) was a specialist research institute dedicated to the research and market insight needs of Japanese organisations. Over nearly 30 years, first as an internal research unit of Osaka Gas and later as a private company owned by two veteran British consultants, EJC assisted its clients - Japanese private companies, think tanks, research institutes, trade associations, and government organisations - with over 2,000 research projects.
Following the retirement of EJC’s owners, John Jones and Ian Lyle, we now operate as Japan Research Network (JRN). Although the name has changed, we continue to provide our customers with high quality research and analysis across the globe.
Our research network brings together a multilingual team of globally based research associates with expertise in different fields. We cover a wide range of languages, from English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian, to Scandinavian languages and Russian. In addition, we cover all major Asian languages.
